Run your way to new running shoes with Vitality Active Rewards Shoe Booster

You can now activate yet another exciting reward for getting active with Vitality Active Rewards. Vitality Active Rewards members can earn up to 100% cash back on a pair of running shoes with the new Vitality Active Rewards Shoe Booster.

Here’s how it works

Step 1:
Download the latest version of the Discovery app and activate Vitality Active Rewards.

Step 2:
Activate HealthyGear and complete a Vitality Age and Vitality Fitness Assessment to get up to 25% cash back on your purchases at Sportsmans Warehouse.

Step 3:
Activate Shoe Booster from Vitality Active Rewards in the Discovery app for a once-off fee of R300 and get a free, optional 2017 Team Vitality Running membership. Members who have already signed up for Team Vitality Running 2017 will have their Shoe Booster activation fee waivered.

Step 4:
Go visit your nearest Sportsmans Warehouse and buy yourself a new pair of shoes.

Step 5:
Get active in any way that suits your lifestyle to earn Vitality fitness points and achieve your weekly, personalised Vitality Active Rewards goals.

Step 6:
Get up to 75% monthly cash back off the price of your new running shoes based on how many goals you achieve each month over a 12 month period.

Enjoy your new running shoes

Each Vitality Active Rewards member 18 years and older will have access to one pair of running shoes with Shoe Booster each calendar year. Shoe Booster will be available for road running, trail running and lightweight running shoes at Sportsmans Warehouse for 3 months from 14 January to 14 April 2017, after which it may be limited to selected brands. Cash back applies to the first R2 000 of the retail price of the running shoes.

Shoe Booster with Vitality Active Rewards in action

Sarah activates the Shoe Booster benefit online by paying the once-off activation fee of R300. As part of this fee, she also gets a free Team Vitality running membership for the duration of the year. In the first week of February 2017, Sarah goes to Sportsmans Warehouse and purchases a new pair of running shoes for R1 800. From March 2017 to the end of February 2018, Sarah achieves all of her weekly Vitality Active Rewards goals to increase her cash backs.

Sarah has completed her Vitality Age and Vitality Fitness Assessment, so she gets R450 from her 25% HealthyGear cash back. In addition, she gets an extra R1 350 in Shoe Booster cash back payments over a 12-month period.

For getting active, Sarah has earned 100% cash back on her running shoes.
