Discovery Insure's NEW EXCESS Enhancements

• A new motor basic excess across all Plans (Essential Plan = R3 600, with VitalityDrive = R 48; Classic- and Executive Plans = R3 250, with VitalityDrive = R 65) 
• A new excess structure for bicycle cover: 

         Bicycles        valued up to R30 000 = R750.00
                               valued between R30 000-R60 000 = R5 000
                               More than R60 000 = R10 000

• No basic excess will apply to clients aged 55 and older 
• Greater flexibility including being able to choose zero excess at an additional premium. 

We’re also removing the following excess clause: “If you do not claim for your own damages when your vehicle causes injury, loss or damage to a third party, you will be required to pay an excess, as shown in your Plan Schedule and Excess Annexure.”
